Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s

Today on the Buxton beaches the water was a little dirty.  There were a few sea mullet and bluefish caught. Out at Cape Point a few bluefish were caught on lures.  On the Frisco beach sea mullet and bluefish were also caught.  The Hatteras beaches had bluefish, sea mullet, flounder, a few puppy drum and spot were reported.

The inshore boats had good speckled trout fishing with limits of puppy drum and good bluefish catches in the Pamlico Sound.

The offshore boats had a few dolphin and wahoo catches with a several sailfish released.   The picture below is one of the sailfish released by the “Godspeed” charter boat today.
