Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today the sky was a little overcast. The winds were from the west-south-west at 10-15mph with higher gusts. The temperature was in the mid 80’s.
The Frisco beach had some sea mullet and black drum. The Buxton beach had some sea mullet, puppy drum and pompano. The Hatteras beach had catches of small sea mullet, small pompano, flounder and small blues.
Due to the weather, there is no offshore or inshore report for today.
The Gig-a-Bite Light has revolutionized flounder gigging in the Pamlico Sound shallows where it got its start. It weighs only a couple pounds, and uses 8 AA-batteries to power 4 highly efficient LEDs, lasting 4 hours with steady current control.
