Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was mostly sunny with a temperature in the mid 80’s. The wind was out of the south-west 5-10 mph increasing to 15-20 by the late afternoon..
Today on the Buxton beach sea mullets and bluefish were caught. Out at Cape Point a few spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught on lures. Lots of jacks crevalle were hooked out at Cape Point also. Frisco beaches had some bluefish and sea mullet reported. Hatteras beaches had sea mullet, spot, croaker and bluefish.
The inshore boats had good catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish along the beaches. In the Pamlico Sound real good gray trout and keeper puppy drum fishing with a few speckled trout The wahoo fishing is still really good offshore with many citations. Some dolphin and blackfin tuna are in the mix too.
