Today we remember the victims of the 9/11 terror attacks in 2001 and 2012. Our hearts and prayers go out to the families of the brave men and women who lost their lives in the senseless attacks on our freedoms from being American.
Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had more sunny skies with temperatures in the mid to upper 80’s. The winds were from the south-east at 5-10 mph.
The Buxton beaches had catches of bluefish and puppy drum. Out at Cape Point some spanish mackerel, bluefish and puppy drum were reported. The Frisco beaches had some bluefish, sea mullet and a few pompano. Hatteras beaches had catches of bluefish, flounder and puppy drum.
The inshore boats had really good spanish mackerel and bluefish along the beaches outside Hatteras Inlet. In the Pamlico Sound good catches of speckled trout and big red drum.
The offshore boats had excellent catches of dolphin and wahoo with some citation’s caught. The yellowfin tuna and gray tile fishing were good today. 5 sailfish were released today out of Hatteras.
