Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had partly cloudy skies with rain showers in the afternoon. We had a high of 86F. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10mph.
The Buxton beaches had catches of puppy drum, bluefish and pompano. Cape Point had some puppy drum and bluefish. The Frisco beaches had catches of sea mullet, bluefish and puppy drum. Hatteras beaches reports bluefish, Spanish mackerel, pompano, flounder, sea mullet and croaker.
The inshore boats had catches of red drum, with some releases. The offshore fishing was good today. Some boats had their limit of tuna, excellent wahoo catches and dolphin. There were also several billfish released.
