Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was nice with decreasing winds and sunny skies with cooler temperatures. The winds were from the north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s
The Buxton beaches had catches of puppy drum. Out at Cape Point a few bluefish and spanish mackerel were caught on lures. The Frisco beaches had catches of sea mullet and bluefish. The Hatteras beaches reported bluefish and sea mullet.
A few boats fished today. The inshore boats had good puppy drum and citation red drum fishing, with a few speckled trout caught.
The offshore boats caught some nice wahoo and a few yellowfin tunas with a decent catch of dolphin caught.
