Today was overcast and breezy.  We had north-east winds at 10-20  mph with gusts to 30 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.

There were puppy drum and bluefish caught on the Buxton beaches again today even though the water was rough. Out on the Frisco beach today their were some sea mullet caught  Down on the Hatteras beach sea mullet and spot were caught.

The inshore boats had good puppy drum fishing.  Captain Doug Martin of Hallelujah Charters had a great day with 2 red drum over 50 inches on 10 lb test light tackle rods.

federal 209 muzzleloading primers

Federal Premium Fusion muzzleloading primers have been specifically designed and tested for use in 50 caliber in-line muzzleloading rifles. These primers were developed in consultation with Thompson Center for extremely fast, extremely hot ignition. They were engineered for reliability in tough, late season conditions and wet weather. One of the benefits of using primers specifically designed for muzzleloading rifles is that they are milder than regular 209 shotshell primers meaning they do not force the powder charge forward helping to maintain consistent velocities and they help to minimize the formation of crud rings.
