Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was partly sunny. We had west winds at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.
On the Buxton beaches puppy drum, bluefish and blow toads were caught. Out at Cape Point some bluefish and puppy drum were reported. Last night they caught some big drum and some yearling drum at Cape Point. Over on the Frisco beach spot and a few puppy drum were caught. Down on the Hatteras beaches catches of flounder, puppy drum and bluefish were caught. Down on the Hatteras soundside last night a nice 13 lb flounder was caught along with a 4 lb one.
The inshore boats caught puppy drum and speckled trout again today in the Pamlico Sound. Out on the shoals of Hatteras Inlet The “Hallelujah” charter boat with Captain Doug Martin released this 48″ Red Drum with a 2 hour fight on a trout rod.
The offshore boats had a few dolphin and nice size wahoo with some real good trigger fish catches from the bottom.
