Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was clear with a high of 64F. It was windy with winds out of the north at 20 to 30 mph.
Despite the wind, there were fish caught today. Buxton had puppy drum, spot, croaker and bluefish. Cape Point had puppy drum, yearlings and a few big drum. Frisco had a few puppy drum and sea mullet. Hatteras beach reports bluefish, puppy drum, black drum and croakers. The black drum and croakers were caught on shrimp.
There’s no inshore report today. Some offshore boats made it out, despite the wind and choppy seas. There were good blackfin tuna catches, bailer dolphin, king mackerel and some albacore.
