Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today wasn’t the prettiest of days this week. The temperature was in the 60’s and skies were cloudy. Winds from the south around 10-15mph picked up later in the day to 20-25mph with gusts up to 35mph. Rain set in around noon, but there were still some people out fishing.

Although the weather wasn’t cooperating, some puppy drum were caught at Cape Point in Buxton. There were no reports of fish from the Frisco beaches today.

This morning some inshore charters had limits of puppy drum in the Pamlico sound before the rain.

There is no offshore report for today.
