Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny and once again nice. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s.
Up on the Avon beach there were reports of bluefish, blow toads and sea mullet. On the Buxton beaches there were puppy drum and bluefish caught. The big red drum made an awesome showing at Cape Point in Buxton tonight. There were reports of 50-75 red drum caught and released as of 9 pm. Over on Ramp 49 on the Frisco Beach we had some good fishing today with black drum, pompano and puppy drum reported. Down on the Hatteras beach there were sea mullet, blow toads, bluefish and some flounder caught.

This is Francis Kennedy with a nice 3 lb 6 oz black drum that he caught today on the Frisco Beach.
The inshore boats had another excellent day catching puppy drum and big black drum in the Pamlico Sound and Hatteras Inlet today.
The picture below is from the inshore charter boat “Fingeance” with one of the big black drum that were released today.
