Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
We had sunny skies today with a high around 75F. Winds were out of the west-north-west this morning around 10 mph, switching to the south-west this evening and increasing.
Buxton had some keeper flounder behind the motels and some sheepshead around the jetties. Cape Point had a few big drum and some bluefish. Frisco had puppy drum, sea mullet and bluefish. Ramp 55 had sea mullet, flounder and small bluefish.
Inshore boats continue to see cobia and catch a few. The red drum bite is good too with puppies and big drum. There was also bluefish and Spanish mackerel caught. Pictured below is Jake Brown of Frisco with a 46 incher. Check out all the spots on this boy!
The offshore fleet caught gaffer dolphin, yellowfin and blackfin tuna. There was also some tilefish caught.
