Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
We had sunny skies today with much higher temperatures. The winds were out of the west south-west at 5-10 mph. The temperatures were in the low 80’s.
We had reports of sea mullet on the Avon and Buxton beaches. Out at Cape Point today a cobia was reported and some nice bluefish action. Along the Frisco and Hatteras beaches catches of sea mullet, bluefish, a few flounder and pompano were reported.
The inshore boats had catches of puppy drum and gray trout in the Pamlico Sound today.
The offshore fleet had real good gaffer dolphin fishing. A few boats caught some yellowfin and blackfin tuna as well as some triggerfish and sea bass from the bottom.
