Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies with more south-west wind. The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph. The temperatures were in the low 80’s.
On the Avon beach there were some spot, sea mullet, a few puppy drum and flounder caught. Up around the Buxton beaches some sea mullet and spot were reported. Over on the Frisco beach we had catches of sea mullet and puppy drum . Down on the Hatteras beach there ware some nice pompano and flounder caught with a few sea mullet also reported.
The inshore boats had a bumpy day but good catches of puppy drum were reported.
The offshore fleet had a great day of marlin fishing with 5 white marlin 3 blue marlin and a sailfish released. The dolphin fishing was good with some limits and a few blackfin tuna. The picture below is from the “Godspeed” charter boat with a nice blue marlin released today.
