Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had a beautiful day here on the island.  The winds were north-east or east-north-east at 9-12 mph throughout the day, with a high around 75F.

Avon beach had sea mullet, croaker, spot and spanish mackerel.  Frisco beach had sea mullet, pompano, black drum and sheepshead.  Hatteras beaches had reports of sea mullet, pompano, small bluefish and small flounder.

The inshore boats are catching spanish mackerel and red drum.  The offshore boats are coming back to the docks with excellent catches of dolphin, gaffers and bailers.  Scattered catches of  wahoo, yellowfin and blackfin tuna.  There were a couple of sailfish and a white marlins released today also.
