Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

The winds were from the south south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  Up on the Avon beach some bluefish and some sea mullet were caught.  Around the Buxton beaches only some sea mullet and spot were caught.  Over on the Frisco beach nice puppy drum, sea mullet and a few pompano were caught. Down on the Hatteras Beach sea mullet, spanish mackerel and flounder were reported.  The picture below is Francis Kennedy with his puppy drum from this morning from the Frisco Beach.

Bonze Signature Series Grimmel

Named after Captain Olaf Grimkowski this lure is one of my most recent developments. A weighted rounded edge tube gives it stability even in rough water. This lure has been a real star in its short career already taking numerous blue marlin in excess of 500lbs from the waters of Ascension Island, Cape Verde and the Azores. The Grimmel will become an integral part of your spread!
