Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had breezy conditions.  The winds were from the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s

Up on the Avon beach today only some spot and sharks were caught.  The Buxton beach had some bluefish, sea mullet and puppy drum catches reported.  Over on the Frisco beach the sea mullet bite was decent and there were a few more puppy drum caught today.  The Hatteras beach had some reports of flounder.

The inshore boats had good catches of gray trout and puppy drum in the Pamlico Sound.

Today the offshore conditions were a little on the rough side today, but a few boats did fish and they had limits of dolphin.
