Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
We had a beautiful day on Hatteras Island. We had light breezes all day, it did a lot of switching though. Started out northwest, and ended up out of the southeast this evening. The temperatures reached mid to upper 80’s today.
Avon beach had spot and croaker to report. Buxton reports sea mullet and pompano. Frisco reports sea mullet and pompano as well. Hatteras beach reports small bluefish, pompano, sea mullet and flounder.
The inshore boats saw schools of puppy drum today. They caught puppy drum and bluefish.
The offshore boats had good catches of dolphin, several wahoo and some amberjack. Pictured below is Godspeed Charters with a wahoo they caught today.
