Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Clear skies today made for a good day fishing. The temperature was in the upper 80’s with east winds at 5-10 mph.
Up on the Avon beach some spot and sea mullet were caught. On the Buxton beach some sea mullet, pompano and even a scattered puppy drum were caught. Over on the Frisco beach at Ramp 49 the water was beautiful with a few small pompano and sea mullet reported being caught. Down on the Hatteras beach conditions were the same as Frisco with a few more fish. Pompano, sea mullet, flounder and some puppy drum were all caught.
The inshore puppy drum fishing on the Pamlico Sound was good today.
The offshore boats had good catches of dolphin with scattered catches of black fin tuna and wahoo. There were also some amber jacks and grouper caught too. A few white marlin were released.
