Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was just like yesterday We had more sunny skies and calm winds. The winds were from the north north-east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.
Around the Avon beaches there were bluefish and a few flounder reported. On the Buxton beaches there were good bluefish and puppy drum catches. Out at Cape Point in Buxton some big drum were caught last night and today the puppy drum and yearling drum fishing was pretty good. The big bluefish and false albacore also made a showing. Over on the Frisco beach the bluefish bite was good. Down on the Hatteras beach some bluefish and flounder were caught.
The inshore boats had excellent catches of puppy drum today in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had a decent day with good dolphin fishing and a few blackfin tuna and wahoo catches. A sailfish was released today.
