Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was warm and sunny with calm winds. The winds were from the west south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
There were puppy drum and a few yearling size drum caught out at Cape Point in Buxton today. The Frisco beach at Ramp 49 had a scattered puppy drum bite and a few sea mullet were caught around the Hatteras beaches.
There were a few puppy drum starting to show up around the Hatteras Inlet area in the Pamlico Sound today.
The offshore boats caught some nice tilefish and amberjack. There were some bluefin tuna spotted with none hooked up.
