Today we had on and off rain showers again. The winds were out of the south-south-east anywhere from 6 to 19 mph. The temperature reached a high of 75F.
Avon beach reports sea mullet. Buxton reports bluefish and yearling size drum. Frisco reports pompano, sea mullet, bluefish and black drum. Pictured below is SusanOBX with two nice pompano, one a citation, caught using river rigs.
A few inshore boats ventured out, saw some drum, but could not get them to bite. There is no offshore report for today.
