Hatteras Island Fishing Reports

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was beautiful.  We had a high of 84F, clear skies and south-south-east winds at 5-10 mph.

Avon beach had some sea mullet and bluefish.  Buxton had some spanish mackerel and bluefish.  Frisco had some bluefish and sea mullet.  Hatteras had a nice 4lb 11oz pompano.

The inshore boats continue to catch cobia.  They are getting a little tougher to get on the hook now though.  Red drum are also being caught.  There is also lots of clams around.  The offshore boats are having real good catches of dolphin, some gaffers mixed in.  The boats that bottomfished had triggerfish, b-liners, amberjack and grouper.
