Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
We had clear skies today, with highs in the lower 80’s. The winds increased throughout the day, all out of the northeast from 5 mph this morning to 10 mph tonight.
Fishing is a little spotty right now, you’ve really got to put some time in to find some fish. Avon reports some sea mullet today. Avon pier is producing a little more with sea mullet, bluefish, croaker and pompano. Buxton had a few fish today. They had some pompano, sea mullet and spanish mackerel. Frisco had some sea mullet. Hatteras didn’t have a report today.
The inshore boats had good catches of croakers, spot, big bluefish. Also some keeper drum and over the slot drum and flounder.
The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, yellowfin tuna and wahoo.
