Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a bit overcast, with a temperature of 76F. We had light north-north-east winds this morning, switchingto the west-south-west tonight.
The northern ramps are open and Hatteras is open. Hopefully with little to no rain this week, the water will soak in at Ramps 43, 44 and 49 and get open. We will post as soon as they post opening. You can always check their facebook page by clicking this link Cape Hatteras National Seashore.
Avon beach had reports of sea mullet and small bluefish. Buxton reports small bluefish. Frisco had some sea mullet and small bluefis. Hatteras had sea mullet, croaker and a few small bluefish.
The inshore boats had keeper red drum and some releases. Pictured below is Bak Bar Sportfishing with one of their red drum catches today.
The offshore boats had good catches of wahoo and blackfin tuna, along with scattered dolphin and yellowfin tuna.
