Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Rain and wind again today. The rain showers were scattered and winds were from the South-West at 10-20 mph. The temperature was in the low 70’s for most of the day dropping later in the afternoon to upper 50’s.
Fishing from the beach was slow again today. There was some sea-mullet caught here on the Frisco beach before the hard winds set in. Late in the afternoon yesterday and today there was a good bite of red drum at the point in Buxton.
No boats fished today due to wind.
New for this year the Cape Hatteras National Seashore park service will be posting a ramp status update sheet so we will now be more informed about closures and beach access.
