Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had clear skies and cooler temperatures. With the winds blowing a steady north-north-east anywhere from 7 to 17 mph, made it feel a little cool this morning. The sun warmed it up a little with highs around 63F today.
Avon beach is reporting a few sea mullet. Buxton reports a nice mix today. They had catches of bluefish, sea mullet, blow toads and gray trout. Frisco had catches of sea mullet, blow toads and a few small bluefish. Pictured below is Gary Gordon with a citation sea mullet, 1lb 13oz, caught here at Ramp 49. Hatteras had catches of flounder, blow toads, sea mullet and bluefish. Also pictured below is Nelson Meyerhoeffer, he caught this 48″ red drum in Ocracoke, early this morning. The winds kept the inshore and offshore boats at the docks today.
