Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Another cloudy, windy, rainy day here on the island. The temperature was in the lower 60’s. Winds were from the North-East at 10-15 mph.
Slow fishing the the wind and rain today. From the beach in Avon there was a scattered sea-mullet caught. In Buxton there was sea-mullet, blow-toads, and bluefish at the point.
Not many boats fished inshore today but for the few that did there was some good puppy drum fishing in the sound.
Even with the wind and scattered rain the offshore boats had a good day fishing. There was black-fin tuna, gaffer sized dolphin, and a few wahoo caught.
