Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
The weather was much better today. There was still a few clouds around. The temperature was in the lower 60’s again today. Winds were from the South-West at 10-15 this morning calming down as the day went on.
Fishing from the beach was still slow today. From the beach in Avon there was sea-mullet biting. In Buxton there was sea-mullet, and bluefish caught. In Hatteras there was sea-mullet, bluefish, and some small flounder caught.
Inshore fishing was good this morning and slowed down in the afternoon. There was sea-mullet and grey trout caught in the sound. Just out side the inlet there was bluefish and spanish mackerel caught.
Gaffer dolphin were all over offshore today. The yellow-fin and black-fin tuna bite was scattered. A few wahoo were caught today as well. There was a couple of sailfish released today.
