Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was mostly cloudy with scattered rain showers. The winds were from the south-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s.
Up on the Avon beach today there were sea mullet, croaker and a few spanish mackerel. Around the Buxton beaches sea mullet, bluefish and croakers were caught. The Frisco beach had croaker reported. Down at Hatteras Inlet croaker, sea mullet, flounder and bluefish were caught.
The inshore boats had bluefish, spanish mackerel and puppy and big red drum action today in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had good catches of wahoo and scattered catches of blackfin tuna and dolphin. .There were a few sailfish and a blue marlin released. The bottom fishing was good today with grouper, amber jack and tile fish being caught.
Pictured is the “Bite Me” charter boat with a nice shot of their est. 300 lb blue marlin released today out of Hatteras. Nice Catch!!!
