Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today felt nice. It was cooler than earlier in the week. We had temperatures in the mid 80’s and southwest winds between 5-10 mph.
It’s summertime and that means the fish are here or there and in between. Avon is reporting sea mullet and croaker. At the Pier there were spanish mackerel, small bluefish, spot, croaker and flounder. Buxton had reports of a few spanish mackerel, small bluefish and sea mullet, Frisco had bluefish, sea mullet and croaker. Hatteras had some small bluefish, croaker and sea mullet.
The inshore boats had nice catches of speckled trout and bluefish.
One boat made it offshore today and they had a descent catch of blackfin tuna.
