Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was hot and sunny. The winds were from the south-east at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the low 90’s.
Up on the Avon beaches some sea mullet were reported. Down on the Buxton beaches and out at Cape Point spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches there were sea mullet and bluefish reported.
The inshore boats caught red drum, speckled trout and bluefish in the Pamlico Sound. Outside Hatteras Inlet king mackerel, spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught.
The offshore boats had scattered catches of yellowfin and blackfin tuna, good wahoo and a few dolphin. One sailfish was released.
