Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Another Hot and sunny day today. There was a few clouds around but the temperatures were in the low 90’s. The winds were From the South-East at 5-10 mph.
From the beach the fishing was fair. In Avon off the beach there was sea-mullet caught. Off the pier there was spanish mackerel, bluefish, and flounder. In Buxton there was spanish mackerel, bluefish and puppy drum biting. Here in Frisco there was sea-mullet cuaght. Hatteras beach there was bluefish and spanish mackerel.
This afternoon my wife and little girl got to go for a ride out to the point. While there a friend brought a rod an the found a few spanish mackerel. Here she is with a nice one my wife caught.
Inshore today there was good speckled trout and grey trout in the morning. This afternoon the spanish mackerel, bluefish and red drum were biting great.
The sailfish were biting great today with 5 being released. Bailer doplhin were biting again today. The wahoo and blackfin tuna were scattered today. From the bottom there was tilefish, grouper, and amberjack caught.
