Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Hot an sunny again today. Temperatures were in the low 90’s today. Winds were from the South at 10-15 mph.
Slow fishing from the beach today. Sea-mullet were biting from the beach in Avon. From the pier there was sea-mullet, spot, croaker, and bluefish caught. In Buxton there was bluefish. Here in Frisco we had sea-mullet. In Hatteras there was bluefish and pompano biting.
Inshore the fishing was scattered. In the morning there was a few red drum and speckled trout. In the afternoon there was bluefish biting. Clamming was good today.
Below is Gilliam Shisler with a nice 14 pound bluefish caught this afternoon in the pamlico sound.
Offshore was slow today. Only a few boats managed to catch some wahoo. Dolphin bite was very slow. A few king mackerel were caught also.
