Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Another hot day for the books. The high today was 90F. We had westerly winds this morning, switched to the southwest this afternoon, blowing around 6 mph.
Seems like fishing was a little better today. Avon had reports of sea mullet, bluefish, spanish mackerel, croaker and spot. Buxton had a few spanish mackerel, small bluefish and sea mullet. Frisco had sea mullet, bluefish and croaker. Hatteras had bluefish, pompano, croaker and sea mullet.
The inshore boats had catches of red drum and trout today. Some ventured nearshore and had catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish.
The offshore boats had good catches of wahoo, some dolphin and the blackfin bite was scattered today.
