Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Little rougher conditions today. The winds were from the East at 10-15 mph. We had some scattered showers in the afternoon. Temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
Winds made for rough conditions on the beach. The only reports we heard were from the Avon Pier and they were catching small puppy drum and sea-mullet.
Inshore fishing is still going great. Bluefish and grey trout in the sound. Red drum were biting in the inlet again today.
Offshore today the bill fish were biting. A few sailfish were released today and blue marlin was brought to the docks today weighing in at 337lbs by the Bite Me crew. (picture below) Wahoo are still biting great. Yellow-fin tuna, black-fin tuna, and dolphin were biting good today as well.
