Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a little overcast, with highs in the upper 80’s. Winds were out of the south-south-east this morning, winds and clouds increased mid-afternoon, blowing around 9-12 mph. Rain has moved in late this afternoon and it looks like it may stay a little while.
The ocean is rough, making hard for fishing today. Folks are giving it a try though. In Avon there has been a few sea mullet. Buxton had a few sea mullet and small puppy drum. Frisco had a few sea mullet.
The inshore boats caught speckled trout and red drum.
There was one boat offshore today. They brought back some wahoo, dolphin, blackfin and yellowfin tunas.
