Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was another sunny day with light winds. The winds were from the east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Out at Cape Point in Buxton some bluefish and spanish mackerel were caught. There was also a 40 in red drum released. Over on the Frisco beach some bluefish and sea mullet were reported.
The inshore boats had good red drum fishing with all being to small or to big to keep in the Pamlico Sound today.
The offshore boats had nice catches of dolphin, pretty good black fin tuna and scattered catches of wahoo and yellowfin tuna. A few sailfish were released.
