Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Fair weather today. Partly cloudy with some scattered showers late in the afternoon. The temperatures were in the lower 80’s. Winds were from the calm from the East.
Slow fishing today. From the pier in Avon there was spanish mackerel and pompano biting. Off the beach there was bluefish, spanish mackerel, puppy drum, and pompano caught. In Buxton there was bluefish and spanish mackerel were biting at the point. Here in Frisco and down in Hatteras there wasn’t much biting.
Inshore today there was great red drum fishing. Limits of speckled trout were caught as well today.
Offshore today there was a real good bite from wahoo. The black-fin and yellow-fin tuna were biting great again today. Sailfin and blue marlin were released again.
