Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was a beautiful day. We had a high of 80 and north-north-east breezes around 9 mph.
Today was a descent day for fishing. Avon is reporting catches of pompano, spot, sea mullet and a few puppy drum. Buxton had small bluefish, a few spanish mackerel and pompano. Frisco had a few small bluefish, sea mullet and few flounder. There was a nice 30″ drum caught this morning. (not sure where though) Hatteras had small bluefish, sea mullet and a few puppy drum.
No inshore report for today.
The offshore boats had catches of dolphin, wahoo, yellowfin and blackfin tuna. The billfish bite was Off the Hook!! There were 14 sailfish releases and 1 blue marlin release today.
