Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
The weather and fishing was great today. The temperatures were in the lower 70’s. Winds were from the North East at 5-10 mph.
From the beach in Avon today there was puppy drum, sea-mullet, and small bluefish. Off the pier there was puppy drum, and pompano caught. In Buxton there was puppy drum, sea-mullet, bluefish, and speckled trout. Here in Frisco we had bluefish, puppy drum, and sea-mullet. In Hatteras there was sea-mullet and puppy drum caught.
First day back for offshore fishing today! Wahoo and yellow fin tuna were biting right off the bat. The black-fin tuna and dolphin bite was scattered. Sailfish were around but only a few bit.
