Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Sunny warm weather today. The temperatures were around 70. Winds calm from the South and turned to the South-West in the afternoon.
Slow fishin just about everywhere today. In Avon off the beach today there was black drum, puppy drum, and sea-mullet. Off the pier there was black drum, sea-mullet and spot caught. In Buxton there was puppy drum and sheepshead biting. The bite was late in Frisco today. This afternoon there was bluefish and puppy drum biting. In Hatteras there was sea-mullet and puppy drum caught.
Slow fishing in shore today. There was grey tout and speckled trout in the morning. This afternoon there was black drum and puppy drum biting.
Offshore today the fishing was great, Limits of king mackerel and black-fin tuna today. Wahoo, dolphin, and a scattered sailfish were cauht as well.
