Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Beautiful weather today. Temperatures were in the mid 70’s throughout the day. Winds were from the South west at 5-10 mph.
Fair fishing off the beach today. In Avon there was bluefish off teh beach. From the Avon Pier and off the beach in Buxton there was bluefish, sea-mullet and some drum biting. Here in Frisco we had small flounder, bluefish, and blow-toads caught.
Today was the start of the Cape Hatteras Anglers Club 59th Annual Invitational Surf Fishing Tournament. And there was lots of fish caught. To keep up with the tournametn check out there Facbook page.
Inshore today the keeper drum were biting great.
Offshore today there was a great king mackerel bite. The wahoo and black-fin tuna were biting as well.
