Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was overcast with a little more wind. We had north winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.
The ocean is has calmed down quite a bit. Up on the Avon beach black drum and puppy drum were caught. Avon Pier had several big red drum released. Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, puppy drum, sea mullet and a few speckled trout were caught. Over on the Frisco beach puppy drum, speckled trout and bluefish were reported.
No boats fished inshore.
One boat fished offshroe and caught some dolphin while looking for a swordfish which they hooked and fought for few hours before pulling the hook.
