Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was warm and sunny with calm winds. We had south-west winds 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.
Up on the Avon beach puppy drum were reported. Around the Buxton beaches good puppy drum action and some sea mullet were caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton real good big red drum most of the day with the light south-west winds. Still plenty of sharks and skates and some blue fish. Over on the Frisco beach good sea mullet action, some puppy drum and a few speckled trout were reported. Down around the Hatteras beach puppy drum and bluefish were reported.
No reports from the inshore or offshore fleet today.
