Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was much nicer with calm winds and sunny skies. The winds were from the north-west at 5-10 mph switching to the south-west at 5-10 mph late in the day. The temperatures were around 80 degrees today.
Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish, sea mullet, puppy drum and flounder were reported. Around the Buxton beaches bluefish and a few puppy drum were caught. Over on the Frisco beach some nice flounder and big bluefish were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach puppy drum and yearling drum were reported.
The inshore boats had real good red drum and puppy drum catches today in the Pamlico Sound. The offshore boats caught dolphin and black fin tuna. One blue marlin and one sailfish were released.
