Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had overcast skies with some heavy rain early this morning. The sun came out in the afternoon. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Today on the Buxton beaches there were sea mullet and bluefish caught. Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish, a few puppy drum and sting rays were reported. Over on the Frisco beach sea mullet and bluefish were reported.
The inshore boats caught some cobia, speckled trout and puppy drum in the and around Hatteras Inlet and the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats caught gaffer dolphin, black fin tuna, trigger fish and grouper. Hatteras Fever II released a blue marlin.
