Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies with some humidity. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish and some spanish mackerel were reported. Over on the Frisco Beach sea mullet were caught. Down on the Hatteras beach spanish mackerel, sea mullet and cobia were reported.
The inshore boats caught cobia, red drum and speckled trout.
The offshroe boats had decent dolphin catches, a few blackfin tuna and wahoo and one blue marlin released.
Today was Day 3 day of the 59th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament.
