Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had partly sunny skies with a few rain showers. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Today the fishing was good out at Cape Point in Buxton. Blue fish on metal and puppy drum on cut bait were reported. There were some sea mullet caught on the Frisco beach.
The inshore boats were catching puppy drum, spanish mackerel and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had scattered catches of dolphin and blackfin tuna. 3 sailfish and 1 white marlin were released.
