Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny and hot. The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s with a heat index in the upper 90’s.
It looks like sea mullet and croakers are being caught on the Avon, Buxton, Frisco and Hatteras beaches. Out at Cape Point in Buxton bluefish and sharks were reported.
The inshore boats had catches of puppy drum, bluefsih and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound.
The offshore boats had good dolphin, some blackfin tuna and wahoo reported. The “Hatteras Fever II” caught the first Grand Slam of the season with a blue marlin, white marlin and 2 sailfish. Pretty Work guys!!!
